Siren Song (or Song of Seduction)

Or whatever the title ends up being is FINISHED! I typed THE END on the first draft earlier today.

I had a huge writing stint very early this morning (finished the big action scene at 2 am!). Then, while my hubby went to the hardware store with the boys this morning, I put in the HEA.

Wow...does it feel good to be done, although I loved writing this. The huge action scene is one of the scariest I've ever put together. I'm just hoping I did it justice. And the ending...oh my, I got shivers when it finally all fell into place.

I'm going to start incorporating the edits that have drizzled in from one of my crit groups as well as start thinking about trying another WICKED? Do I dare?

Ok I got my 11 pages in yesterday putting me at the 75 page mark. YEAH ME GO ME YEAH ME!! Oh and football is over. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHH No fOOTBAlL

Ok so anyway today I'd like 10 more pages. I wrote yesterday until my fingers were literally tripping over themselves but I got some good stuff! Now if I can just remember to use the hero's pov. This writing in third person kinda sucks ya'll. hehehe

Okay can I say Okay anymore? LOL I have NO internet at home this weekend. I"m not on much in the evenings anyway but it'll be a bit easier to face the laptop knowing there's no temptation because my soon-to-be-ex cable company sucks my ass (buh-bye Roadrunner!). I have no new cable until November 4 and I really need to wrap up the first draft of this novella by Sunday because I have two more to write. I can easily see this one hitting over 100 pages though so we'll see.

It's also the boys birthday celebration weekend--someone save my ass from ice cream. If I forget to check in at the end of the day, Y'all have a good one!
