Wooohooo...so, when you get your notebook out, are you checking research or writing out by hand. I find that when I'm stuck, sometimes writing the scene longhand will get it jump started again.
Her Ericka! When I pull out my notebook it means that I'm very close to the end. Not necessarily word wise, but at the finishing stages.
It's when I write down all the important things that have happened, and list the things that NEED to happen by the end of the tale. I love to tie every loose end nice and neat in the end... except for anything that's supposed to lead to a sequel. LOL. :D
