I got NO writing done yesterday, but did get a new refrigerator instead. Our old one was rattling and moaning as if it was possessed. Luckily it held out just long enough...
Today, I threw myself right back into the story and it's moving right along -- lots of mystery -- I'm really enjoying this. And it's fun to do research as to what existed back in 1943 (not only objects but expressions). I have to be careful my "research" doesn't shadow my writing time...

You're getting some good words in there, Ericka. Sorry to hear about your refrigerator. Our drier seems to be dying a slow death at the moment. :/
Oh, and I'm with you on the research. Sometimes it can be so much fun, that you can easily forget why you're actually doing it in the first place. LOL.
WOOT! Ericka. Sorry about your fridge dying but at least the transition to a new one was pretty easy.
I haven't had to research a story yet, well if you don't count the words I have to look up in Latin.
