Hey Emma congrats on finishing! My weekend was pretty much a bust. I got 2k done and that's it. No writing sunday. The freaking cable guy was here 12 hours.
Thank God he was cute!
Monday and Tuesday I pissed my days away with only a few pages here or there. Today I'm off, and seriously need to crank out about 4-5k. That means I've got 16 pages or so to go and I better get my ass in gear. Once the kids get home it's all a wash!

I hear you when it comes to what happens after the kids get home. I am screwed BIG TIME because my kids go on minimum days starting Thursday until the Thanksgiving holiday AND there's the Veteran's day holiday as well. So much writing is not going to get done around here, I could cry!
12 hours? Oh my gosh. I would have totally billed them for using my precious time.

The kids get out of school an hour earlier than usual. In other words, my idea of hell :).
And 16 pages. OMG, swoon. I wish!
QB, when my daughter gets home from school, I don't bother with writing either. There's too much "Mum, mum, mum!" going on.

And I did it--I got my 20 pages. I've got about 20 more to go and I figure I'll edit in at least ten. And I really like the story. I can finish the first draft today or tomorrow
Yolanda yes! I'm still nanoing away! Lucky mine have started takign off for a friend's house so that helps--I can at least get dinner cooked with some semblence of peace and quiet. One night I even put the alpha smart on the counter wiht me while i was cooking LOL
