So far, I haven't achieved any of my word count goals. Today's goal is modest--start the next scene, which I haven't started because even though I know what has to happen, I don't have the "entry point" yet and I can never start a scene without an opening sentence.
I'd like to hit 15,000 words today, but it's hard to say for sure. Kids are home from school and trapped in the house all day because of this (about 5-8 miles from my house as the crow flies):
There's a possibility we might have to evacuate at some point, although we seem to be in a pocket right now (sky above our house is clear and blue).

Sadly, no goal achievement yesterday. Not because I didn't have plenty of time or because we had to evacuate, but because I was too distracted by everything going on and couldn't find the mojo or the starting point for the next scene.
No goal for today. I wouldn't meet it anyway :).
The fact that you are able to do ANYTHING with everything that is going on right now amazes me! Hugs Jackie!
