This positive stuff is really hard. I got 2000 words for the weekend. That's 8 pages and sex scene number two (believe me it was badly needed). My goal is 100-125 pages for this novella but I feel like every scene is just taking SO LONG! So eventhough I've got 60 pages now, the story hasn't moved much. Maybe now that I'm past some of the sex, things can start trucking. Of course, then I have to figure out how to get more sex in--at least one.
I really need ten pages today.

Um do not say that 2000 words sucks...that was my goal for the weekend and I reached it...lol. No really, don't give up. I get hung up at sex scenes sometimes too. Hint:
(insert sex scene here)
And then just continue the story. LOL Just remember to insert them all before submitting (I did that once)LOL
Sable I live in fear of getting edits on Nailed in january and seeing a LOL sticky note from my editor where i forgot some sex scene.
Sometimes I skip and sometimes I just make myself write them cuz it's been so tough to write them lately. Sometimes waiting for inspiration is just a no-go!
Ok 2000 words was GREAT but I've got at least 260 MORE pages to write (and edit) by Dec 15

LOL Emma! I got 1750 yesterday! that's seven pages. I find page counts easier than word counts....
I do better with wordcount myself...pages make me sweat a little...like its a paper due for a class or something. LOL
